Who we are...,
Industrial Distributors Federal Credit Union was founded in 1983 and has been serving our members for over 20 years. We are a financial cooperative, run by the members, for the members. The Board of Directors and Committee positions are filled by people just like you; hard working Applied Industrial Technologies associates, volunteering their time and talent.
Credit Unions are not-for-profit financial institutions owned and operated by the member. Members pool their money and make loans to other members. Since credit unions are not-for-profit, earnings are distributed to members either in the form of better rates on savings or invested in new or improved services for the membership.
IDFCU is a not-for-profit financial organization that understands your personal financial needs. We are a savings institution owned by the membership, joined in the common desire to save money, and to make loans to each other. We believe the IDFCU is a place where people, not profits, are the reason for being. The members are a group of people, managing their own money, keeping all the benefits. We are not a labor union, or a loan company. We are a family who's objective is to encourage thrift among its members who will save regularly and borrow wisely. Our full time staff members are trained professionals available to assist your immediate finances or long term financial goals.
IDFCU offers many services to its members such as Share, Share Draft, and Club accounts for its members and their immediate family members. We offer Auto loans, Signature loans, and various special promotion loans advertised throughout the year. We also offer such things as ATM cards, Visa Credit Cards, Direct Deposit, Money Orders, Gift Cards and Insurance Services.
